INDIAN BASKET MASTERPIECE

MASTERPIECE CALIFORNIA NATIVE AMERICAN BASKET

This masterpiece Native American Ipai Indian basket, a magnificent California Indian basket weaving masterpiece, was hand weaved in 2005 by YVONNE LA CHUSA TROTTIER Biography, an Ipai Indian from Mesa Grande Indian reservation in San Diego County.

The basket master piece juncus bowl includes a large coiled rattlesnake with snake motif body pattern designs and tail rattle for a unique display of North American aboriginal Indian art.

The large coiled masterpiece Indian basket bowl is constructed of undyed split juncus (tan), juncus dyed black with elderberry leaves and stems on a bundled deergrass foundation.

A supply of Yvonne La Chusa's Native American baskets and authentic California Native American Indian crafts can be purchased from California Indian store and specialty gift shop Shumup Ko Hup in Old Town, San Diego.

Yvonne accepts commissioned orders for fine custom basketry, so-called mission baskets of Southern California.
