Kumeyaay basketweaver Alejandrina Silva holds two of her Kumeyaay baskets. She wove the large winowing tray with flower in 2004 and the smaller tray in the late 1990s.

The California Indian baskets are woven of split dyed and undyed juncus with bundled grass foundations. The smaller tray has the words "San Jose de la Zorra" woven into the basket and a large bird motif in its center.
