BAJA CALIFORNIA MEXICO MOUNTAIN VALLEY

BAJA CALIFORNIA COUNTRYSIDE

Baja California, Mexico, mountainous countryside green mountain landscape picture of the San Jose de la Zorra Kumiai Indian reservation was photographed in April 2006 showing Indian sheep herd grazing tribal lands among large granite boulders with the Kumeyaay school pictured to the photograph right in this Baja California Mexican countryside.

The mountains and hillsides of Valle de Guadalupe show large swaths of burned areas -- I don't recall what the burning was about other that it seemed to be about native land management and controlled burning.

SHADOW BOY:

This young Kumiai boy was was my shadow walking out into the Baja countryside for these village landscape photos of his family ejido -- so I had him climb on top a big rock bolder and took this environmental portrait with the mountains, hills and buildings in the background.
