Looks like a Catholic Holy Communion Day celebration on the Jamul Indian Reservation, now known as Jamul Indian Village, outside the church in 1952.

Production note: This photograph is interesting historically for being shot on early color film in 1952. The whites in the original color print were blown out (paper white) so there was no detail for the scanner to capture. I scanned the small glossy original print at 6000 pixels wide, in 16-bit AdobeRGB for the highest production quality.
The actual print was very clean and well preserved -- it was likely stored flat in a acid-free picture sleeve in a dark, dry environment (what an archivist likes to see)... it appears close in color to the above digital image -- I decided not to jump the color back up, to keep its natural fade.

UNFINISHED PANO 2005 Jamul Indian Reservation Cemetery, Church, Landscape
I shot this 10-photo series to build a 180-degree panographic landscape of the Jamul reservation, but never finished it. The photos are some of the stills and video I shot for Dee Adams. The copper 1995 Tacoma is mine.
In the early 2000s, I did a lot of high-resolution panos like these on LOS COYOTES INDIAN RESERVATION.
These panos in Photoshop® are a lot of work to get them looking seamless.
Panos done on an iPhone are a lot less work, but this method is a lot higher quality. Maybe I will finish this -- it may be interesting for all the Jamul Casino growth in the scene -- and "progress."
